Hello. I am new

Hello: I just joined. I retired 16 months ago. This past September some friends and I rode 3 of my 4 "naked" - vintage GoldWings GL 1000,  from Los Angeles to Orlando, Florida .

On arrival in Florida, they could not part with the 3-sweet babies, so I sold all three to them and now I have only one GL 1000. It is a 1975; the first year of production.

This is a sweet bike, which received the ROYAL TREATMENT this past summer; after 13 years in storage. Unfortunately, I have not found the time to ride it.

Incidentally, after my friends took the three GoldWings in Florida, I drove to upstate New York and spent 5 weeks upthere.

While in upstate NY, I bought an '82 Honda CB 750F / SS and rode it all over NY, NJ & Connecticut.

Both my bikes are oldies like me... but the run strong and reliably.

It is good to be here.

Paxton.

sounds like a guy in need of a cbx.. I ride Harleys now but I fondly remember my K-6 750 four great bike you actualy have to shoot them numerous times to kill one.. not that I would.. I also had a 350 four a 1973 actually it was my first bike.. ahh the old hondas. that was all the technology ever needed on a motorcycle all the crap after that is fluff.. If your ever in NY again stop in lake chatauqa go to the sea breeze, bar a very biker freindly place.. all bikes not just harleys mellow pplace lotta funb ...funnel
